Description: 5th-6th century AD. A conjoined pair of round-bottomed iridescent blue glass tubes with rolled rims, applied zigzag trails below the neck, horizontal trails to the upper body. Cf. Whitehouse, D. Roman Glass in the Corning Museum of Glass, vol.2, New York, 2001, item 742. 63 grams, 96mm (4"). From an important London collection, acquired in the 1990s.
