Description: 3rd century AD. A hollow-formed D-section gold hoop with cusped shoulders, scaphoid plaque with filigree collar, inset glass cabochon. Cf. Ruseva-Slokoska, L. Roman Jewellery, Sofia, 1991, item 201 for type. 1.99 grams, 21mm overall, 14.52mm internal diameter (approximate size British G 1/2, USA 3 1/2, Europe 5.55, Japan 5) (3/4").
