A flat-section gold hoop with circumferential ribbing, discoid plaque with beaded wire edge, inset banded agate cloison with intaglio image of Fortuna with cornucopia and rudder. Cf. Ruseva-Slokoska, L. Roman Jewellery, Sofia, 1991, item 191. 2.90 grams, 20mm overall, 18.12mm internal diameter (approximate size British P 1/2, USA 7 3/4, Europe 16.86, Japan 16) (3/4"). Property of a European collector; acquired Europe, 1980s-1990s.
