Description: Possibly 3rd-4th century AD
Ancient flat band with an interlaced wire pattern, the shoulders composing V shaped groups of globules set in a bezel surrounded by beaded wire with pitted green glass. This a typical example of the Late Roman love for intricate ornamentation in filigree in combination with the bright green glass stone imitating an emerald.
