Description: 1st-2nd century AD. A hand-forged iron spearhead with narrow triangular lentoid-section blade, short neck and long expanding socket with rim to the mouth, single fixing point. 240 grams, 36cm (14"). Property of a Surrey collector; acquired in the early 1970s.
