Description: 3rd-4th century AD. A piriform glass flask with dimple base, ribbed body, tubular neck with restriction to the lower end, flared neck with applied trail rim. Cf. Whitehouse, D. Roman Glass in the Corning Museum of Glass, vol.2, New York, 2001, item 621. 87 grams, 14cm (5 1/2"). From an important London collection, acquired in the 1990s.
