Description: 1st-3rd century AD. A bronze strigil with curved C-section rounded blade, narrow lower handle developing to a lozengiform plaque and long suspension hook. See Roach Smith, C. Property of a London gentleman; acquired by his grandfather in the 1920s; thence by descent.
