Description: 3rd-4th century AD. A bulbous glass flask with red and white pigmentation, tapering neck, folded trefoil flange rim, strap handle to the rear. Cf. Whitehouse, D. Roman Glass in the Corning Museum of Glass, vol.1, New York, 1997, item 334. 71 grams, 10.5cm (4 1/4"). Acquired on the London art market prior to 1980.

Condition Report: Fine condition; lip cracked and repaired.
