ROYAL WORCESTER (England) PORCELAIN URN - Signed ''C. Baldwyn'' (1843-1913), hallmarked on the bottom and also noted ''RaNo240969'' inside a rectangle and also numbered ''1764'' - With griffin handles, gold details and hand-painted with polychrome enameled marsh scenes with rising snow swans in formation on the front and birds (possibly swallows) on the back - Baldwyn was one of the most outstanding painters for Worcester; he developed his own specialty, notably paintings of flying swans and birds in moonlit scenes - No repairs noted and in near mint condition with only very minor gold wear - Dated 1899 - 14.5'' x 7'' diam.
