Description: Russell & Allen of Old Bond Street `Mary Queen of Scots' and 'Lord Darnley' fancy dress ensembles, circa 1900, comprising: midnight blue velvet doublet, hose, stockings, plumed hat, braid trimmed cape, sword-belt, pumps; an elaborate pearl beaded velvet and satin bodice with hanging sleeves, matching skirt, shoes, bonnet, large bag of detached pearl trimmings, ribbon sash etc, remains of a ruff; together with a photograph of Colonel Hugh Sinclair and Mrs Rosalie Sinclair (nee Jackson) wearing the ensembles; together with miscellaneous non related fancy dress components including satin breeches and waistcoat (qty)

Condition Report: Generally good condition. Hat is a bit squashed, the odd moth hole in the velvet - but nothing particularly serious or noticeable.
