Description: continuous strip view of the coronation procession of George IV, original hand-coloured aquatint, 80 x 6250mm., lacking figures 1-6 and beyond 123, of 133, some initial creasing and wear, a few old tape repairs to occasional splits and tears, with associated staining, the right hand end with a few more extensive repairs and a small surface loss, this section linen-backed, but otherwise the majority clean and bright, the edges generally unfrayed, mounted on a contemporary wooden spindle at the right end with remnants of the original publisher's label, and preserved in the original boxwood drum, lacking lid, with coloured label, [Abbey Life 483], William Sams, 1822.
