Description: Artist: HERNANDO G. VILLA (1881-1952) Size: 18 x 23 7/8 in./45.5 x 60.6 cm One of the more famous passenger rail services in the United States, the Santa Fe was best known for its Southwestern routes, the ads for such typically featuring an array of cowboys and Native Americans. Here, a young woman decked out in Western dress is seen conversing with a rough-n-tough cowboy, her Modern-looking pocketbook the only indicator that she is not from around these parts.
