Kennedy;” signed twice with the second signature struck through). 1p. Oblong 8vo. New York, N.d. A Bankers Trust Company signature card for The Hyannis Corporation, signed by Kennedy as assistant treasurer as well as corporate officers Joseph F. Psztur, James J. McGuire and Robert F. Moriarty. ********** Ted was the youngest of the Kennedy brothers and the last survivor. In 1962, he was elected to fill the Senate seat vacated when his brother became president, but his political career was severely damaged when the female passenger in a car he was driving drowned in the infamous 1969 Chappaquiddick Incident. His hopes for succeeding his brother in the Oval Office were ruined, but his senate career spanned more than 30 years, making him the third longest sitting Senator in history. ********** The Hyannis Corporation was named after Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, the location of the Kennedy family compound on Cape Cod, which was Senator Kennedy’s residence from 1982 until his death. ********** With light wear at the edges and normal wear.
