Looking for the realized and estimated price?

Description: serial #17550, 40 2 1/2" (40-65 Sharps), 30" round barrel with a bright minty bore. This is a superb Borchardt rifle. The original caliber marking is "40 1 7/8" with a period added, probably factory mark "2 1/2" after the 1 7/8". Opening the chamber would have been an easy and minor alteration, it is period done and beautifully marked. The condition of this rifle is fabulous. The barrel retains 95% original blue and is marked on top with Bridgeport address and "Old Reliable". The action features hard rubber panels and retains 95% plus original color case-hardened finish which remains very strong and vivid, just toned slightly. The checkered pistolgrip buttstock and forend have wonderful figure and rate excellent plus with 95% original finish remaining and with just couple very light handling marks. The checkered hard rubber buttplate and pistolgrip cap rate excellent with no chips. The rifle is sighted with a windgauge front with spirit level, ladder rear and original mid-range Vernier tang mounted peepsight. This is a spectacular rifle, fresh out of the woodwork and brought into a New England gun shop earlier this year. This rifle would be very difficult to upgrade; investment quality.
