Description:
Details: This lovely pastel study by the noted American modernist Harry Sefarbi is signed and dated upper left, annotated and titled "Before the Mirror" on verso, and framed to approx. 13"x16".

Sefarbi (1917-2009) attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and, in 1947, he enrolled in the two-year course at the Barnes Foundation, where he later taught and into which one of his portraits was accessioned. Other notable collections include the Woodmere Art Museum and Newmann & Saudners.

Please attend our live sale to view this and other works by Sefarbi.
Condition / Notes: This drawing shows nicely with some toning and other mild signs of age and handling. The frame is loose. We identify any advance condition issues that are readily apparent during the cataloging process; no pieces were examined outside their frames/mounts, under ultraviolet light or magnification, or by a trained conservator.

The stated shipping cost in this listing will apply only to addresses within the continental 48 states. Within those parameters, the shipping cost for this lot will be: $23.50
