Pagine VIII, [4], 373, [1] con 335 illustrazioni litografiche, anche a piena, nel testo e fuori testo. Frontespizio in rosso e nero entro cornice litografica. Lieve brunitura della carta, qualche arrossatura. Legatura coeva in mezza pelle, percallina ai piatti. Leggere abrasioni ai piatti e alle cerniere. Traduzione francese di quest'opera apparsa per la prima volta in tedesco nel 1880. Ricco il sistema iconografico che si deve all'artista ungherese Sándor Wagner, conosciuto anche con il nome Alexander: nato a Pest visse e studiò in Austria e in Germania, in specifico a Monaco di Baviera, alla cui Kunstakademie divenne docente nel 1869. Big Folio (385x267 mm). VIII, [4], 373, [1] with 335 lithographic illustrations, also full page in the text and out of text. Red and black title page into a lithographic frame. Light browning on the leaves, some foxing. Contemporary half-leather, percalline on the covers. Slightly abrased the covers and the hings. French translation of this work appeared for the first time in German in 1880. Rich the iconographic group by the Hungarian artist Sándor Wagner, known also with the name of Alexander: born in Pest, he lived and studied in Austria and Germany , particularly in Munich, where he became a professor at the Kunstakademie in 1869.
