Description: Artist: WES WILSON (1937- ) Size: 14 1/8 x 20 in./35.8 x 50.6 cm This is one of the rarest and most important posters in the Family Dog series, as the concert promoted was ultimately canceled. The central female figure is taken from the Franz von Stuck painting Die Suende, and would appear in three other posters (this being the first). Within the body of the snake, we see that The Grass Roots, The Sons of Adam, and Big Brother and the Holding Company were meant to perform. (rock)
