Description: SIR DAVID YOUNG CAMERON (1865-1945) STIRLING / LMS / LNER. 1927.
40x50 inches, 101 1/2x127 cm. W.E. Berry Ltd., Bradford.
Condition B+: repaired tears, minor restored losses, creases and minor overpainting in margins.
In 1924, Cameron had previously contributed a landscape to Wilkinson's movement to get Royal Academicians to design posters. Here, a few years later, he depicts a view of Scotland's Stirling castle with the Ochill Hills in the background.
