The work for its stylistic characteristics, iconographic and also for his own measures, is to be placed between studies that the artist predispose for the magazine "The Italian industries illustrated" founded by U. Notari in Milan in 1917, and which saw the collaboration of Sironi from 1920 to 1921. The artist in 1920 illustrated four issues of the magazine with the same subject.
