Southern silver fork set, Thomas W. Radcliffe Columbia, South Carolina, c. 1848-70, marked: T.W. RADCLIFFE, STERLING and manufacturer''s marks, engraved with initials NIC, L8 1/8" and 11.2ozT (6pcs)

Other Notes: Accompanied by note dated Oct. 22, 1975 reading: These six (6) heavy sterling forks with initials "N.I.C." on back were evidently part of my Grandmother''s (Father''s Mother''s) wedding silver. She was Nancy Isabella Cathcart, who married William Thomas Crawford in 1857. The forks have the name T.W. Radcliffe on back; also the word "Sterling" and a hallmark. The small mustard spoon evidently belongs to the same set of silver.
My father was the youngest son, and was born Oct. 19, 1863 in Rocky Mount, Bossier Parish, Louisiana.
