In her series "Nach der Natur" Spiluttini confronts the overpowering natural scenery of the Swiss and Austrian alpine landscape with equally monumental human works of construction such as artificial lakes and trestles. The wealth of details in Spiluttini's large-format works can almost be said to exaggerate the rugged mountains with the smooth concrete surfaces of the Sellasee dam.
In ihrer Serie "Nach der Natur" hat Spiluttini in den schweizer und den österreichischen Alpen das imposante Zusammentreffen von gewaltigen Naturschauschauplätzen mit ebensolchen monumentalen menschlichen Bauwerken wie Trassen oder Stauseen festgehalten. Der Detailreichtum von Spiluttinis stets großformatigen Aufnahmeformaten überzeichnet dabei nahezu die eindrucksvollen Kulissen zwischen kantigen Gebirgsmassiven und glatten Betonflächen wie hier beim Staudamm Sellasee.
