Description: STOKER, BRAM. Dracula. 8vo, original tan pictorial cloth, front cover stamped and lettered in dark blue, gilt and green, few tiny spots to top of front joint, additional few to portion of top of rear board, trace of rubbing to spine tips; deckle edges with occasional small chips as usual; contents clean. New York: Doubleday & McClure Co., 1899

Notes: beautiful, mostly unopened, copy of the first american edition, first printing with the front cover showing Dracula's castle atop a hill with bats in-flight and the gilt-stamped sun setting. Copies without significant faults are uncommon; this a superior example with none of the spine fading or cover soiling usually seen.
