A bifacial knapped knife of lentoid cross section and fine workmanship; in a mottled grey flint; with a large inked label in Danish giving details and dated 1928. See Glob, P. V., Danske Oldsager II, Yngre Stenalder, Copenhagen, 1952, no.499 for a similar, smaller example. 226 grams, 28.5cm (11 1/4"). Property of a West London gentleman; acquired on the London art market before 1995; formerly in a Scandinavian collection before 1930. [No Reserve]
