Description: CARVED RHINOCEROS HORN 'PRUNUS' LIBATION CUP
QING DYNASTY, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
carved around the exterior with prunus flowers and buds issuing from two gnarled branches forming the handle of the cup and extending from the openwork foot and slightly overhanging the rim, the horn of chestnut colour with an attractive patina
16.5cm long, 170g

Condition Report: - The libation cup weighs 170g
- Good overall condition with some very short and shallow age cracks around the rim
- There are several very tiny chips/nicks to the extremities of the carvnig as conistent with age, this however does not affect the overall appearance
