GILT-DECORATED IVORY BRISÉ FAN
LATE QING DYNASTY
consisting of 20 sticks held together by a ribbon, gilt-decorated on both sides with a peacock in a fenced garden with peony, bamboo and prunus, a group of cranes wading in a pond nearby, contained in a hinged Canton lacquer box decorated with figures on the cover and hand painted with exotic birds on the interior

- The ribbon connecting all the sticks is torn between two sticks, but intact in other areas
- Minimal wear to the gilt decoration
- Age signs and small chips along the edges of the wood box
