Description: IVORY-MOUNTED GOURD CRICKET CAGE
QING DYNASTY, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
the waisted gourd and the tortoiseshell cover both fitted with an ivory collar, the domed cover carved and pierced with five dragons writhing amongst clouds
14.5cm high

Condition Report: - Good overall appearce
- There are some minor cracks to the tortoiseshell latticework inside the cover and a short hairline age crack to the ivory collar
