Looking for the realized and estimated price?

Description: .31 caliber, 5" six shot barrel cluster. This underhammer ring trigger pepperbox features lovely loose flowing scroll engraving on the frame in about full coverage. The condition of the gun is spectacular. The ribbed barrels retain about 95% strong original blue finish with the nipples showing nearly all of their straw colored hardened finish. The frame shows a little flaking but still retains 60 - 70% bright original blue with the flaked areas bearing a perfect smooth brown patina. The ring trigger and hammer retain lots of original fire blue. The bag shaped walnut grips rate excellent with 97% original finish remaining. The face of the muzzle is marked "PM" and "6" over a dot and the barrel cluster retaining screw retains lots of bright fire blue but does show a little slot wear. The pepperbox comes in its original red baize mahogany case with compartments which house the original cleaning / ramrod, leather covered two compartment powder flask, three cavity mould with nipple wrench and turn screw on end of each handle. The condition of the case and accessories is excellent with the lining faded to an attractive antique pink color. The lock catch is missing from lid as is the lock escutcheon on front of case. An investment quality antique American pepperbox. (15496-1) {ANTIQUE}
