Looking for the realized and estimated price?

Description: serial #1129, .36 caliber, 7 1/2" octagon barrel with a bright mint bore. This revolver features beautiful London style scroll engraving on barrel, frame, gripstraps and loading lever. The recoil shields and bottom of loading lever are engraved with beautiful vine motifs and the cylinder retains 100% of its naval engagement scene. The condition of the revolver is really spectacular. The barrel retains 98% bright original blue finish and the cylinder retains about 90 - 95% original blue finish. The frame and hammer retain 90% plus original color case hardened finish which has mellowed over time and has a lovely smooth antique appearance. The brass gripstraps have a beautiful engraved shell motif behind hammer and they retain 75% original silverplate with loss being almost exclusively on the frontstrap. The one piece walnut grip rates excellent having been nicely refinished long ago and with the straps now being a smidge proud - not a major deduction as it is old, well done and the balance of the revolver is spectacular. The revolver comes cased in its original oak London casing with loading instructions label inside lid. The accessories include a wood handled iron wiper, "L" shaped combination tool, two cavity bullet mould, beautiful bag shaped Dixon flask which retains nearly all of its original lacquer, a pewter oil bottle, Eley cap tin, small turn screw and a key to the case. The condition of the case is very good plus. An extremely attractive, investment quality Colt revolver. (15662-14) {ANTIQUE}
