The Heuer Company was founded in 1860 by Edourd Heuer in the Swiss town of St-Imier. It wasn’t until 1985 that the TAG Group bought a large stake in the company and Heuer became TAG Heuer. Best known for precision time-keeping, TAG Heuer made a name for itself in the sport racing world and is today one of the official time-keepers for the Formula 1. This ultimate need for precision fueled most of the TAG Heuers horological innovations including thee Mikrograph, which measures to a 1/100th of a second, and the Mikrogirder which measures 5/10,000th of a second, and was awarded the Aiguille d’Or prize for horological excellence. Today, TAG Heuer further pushes the boundaries of innovation towards precision in timekeeping. Overhaul is recommended at the buyer’s expense. Long-term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed. Size and weight may deviate from the manufacturer’s indication. All watches are hand-measured and weighed.
Conditions may not specify mechanical replacements or imperfections to the movement, case, dial, pendulum, separate base(s) or dome.
