Description: Tennessee, Native American stone effigy pipe, figure of a seated man with headdress carved atop the pipe, roughly carved details, figure's arms appear to be resting on an object. Length 4 1/2 in., Height 4 1/2 in. Provenance: From a Seattle, Washington Collection, originally purchased from Sacajawea Museum in Spalding, Idaho, whose contents were sold in 1963, after a flood.
