A selection of articles, photocopies of articles, transcripts of letters etc. plus a few other miscellaneous items with c1800 embossed revenues, 1890's Insurance company policies with oval 1d orange revenue, receipts with embossed revenues etc. Also 1865-26 newspapers & wrappers - interesting group incl. 1865 Darlington & Stockton Times, bears 1d red newspaper stamp, 1883 Newcastle Daily Chronicle sent from Epsom & franked with ½d Bantam, tied Gateshead c.d.s, similar for 1870 Carlisle Journal also franked ½d Bantam tied by duplex cancel, three Daily Mail wrappers of KGV period etc. Interesting assortment for viewing.
