Notes: Romulo Escudero, Mexican artist of figurative and abstract style, was born on September 5, 1953 in Mexico City. Studied art in Paris in 1973, in the Academy of San Carlos of Mexico in 1975 and in the School of Painting "La Esmeralda" from 1981 to 1985. He has held many exhibitions in Mexico, United States, Germany and Japan. Has a career of 30 years as a professor of drawing, photography and engraving at different public institutions and universities. He had the honor of been jury in several national painting and photography competitions. His work for over forty years as experimental artist has a cornerstone, the figurative as common stock and the evolution process of the human predicament as a poetic reference. He?s does materials research and the application of new technologies, combined in various processes such as etching, experimental photography, holography and especially painting.
