Description: "Two Driven Women" is an oil on canvas by David Cochran, painted in 1987. It depicts a red-haired woman on a bench seat in the back of a vintage car, with another woman just out of frame to the left. The painting was part of series of works revolving around the title for about 10 years. He is well-known for creating "A Different Kind of Family Portrait" and has a full page in Home Design magazine in every issue for the past 18 years. The artists’ studio gallery has been located at the Torpedo factory in Alexandria Virginia for the last 31 years. His art is currently displayed at Philip Morris, the Chrysler Museum, the Federal Reserve Bank (Richmond, VA.) and Ethyl Corp.
