Two Greek icons of the Virgin
Comprising a panel from a triptych painted to show the Virgin, an icon of the Virgin of Sorrows of the seven swords; together with a later icon of the Tikhvin Mother of God, painted on wood panel carved to simulate an oklad and mounted with gilt metal paste stone mounted halo. (3).
H: 11 3/4, W: 8 3/4 in.
