Pre-Columbian, Ecuador, probably Bahia peoples, ca. 300 to 500 CE. A pair of small pottery birds, the smaller of which is a functional whistle. The smaller actually has two birds - one small one perched atop the back of the other. The larger has a long tail and raised head. Both are fairly naturalistic, though with simple features. Size of largest: 3.8" L x 1.75" W x 2.75" H (9.7 cm x 4.4 cm x 7 cm)
