Description: Two Staffordshire boxing figures

Late 19th/early 20th century

Two figures of gentleman boxers modeled in the same pose, each glazed in different colors; the undersides unmarked. (2).

H: 8 3/4 in.

Condition Report: Each in good decorative condition but with repairs. The first, in blue pants, with a repaired crack and abrasion to the underside of the left leg. The second, in yellow pants, with substantial professional restoration. Front and rear of the body and face have been separated and reattached. Each with no further inpainting or repairs visible by blacklight; with occasional minor chips, glaze pops, and surface scratches consistent with age and use.
