TWO STERLING SILVER VINAIGRETTES.
England, ca. 1870s. Large rectangular vinaigrette measures 1.25" x 1.37" x .75" ,opens to reveal large grill with open scroll work. Large sponge stored in the compartment. Hallmarks clearly stamped on inside of lid for Birmingham, ca. 1872-1873, and maker's mark, "C.C." Weight 94 gr.
American, early 20th century. Plain sterling silver cylinder pill box with removable lid. Hallmarks for Unger Bros. on lid. Measures 1.37"h x .62"w, weight 8 gr.
Large English vinaigrette shows some wear.
