College Cottage is now known as Whiteways, No 3 Common Lane.
There was a series of postcards of views of St Ives by VH. It would appear he ws a visitor in the area c. 1930ish.

Born in Cardiff.
Sculptor and Engraver. Sculpture student at Royal College of Art under Lanteri - Under his direction he carved the fifure of John Constable on the south facade of the V&A in c 1905.

Exibited at The Exibition of the Royal Academy of Arts (summer Exibition)
Evibited once, one work (Homer, relief, cat no. 1823)
Member of Royal Society of British Sculptors, The Arts and Crafts Exibition Society and Royal College of Art (including National Art Training School).
