1983, all signed and numbered 71/250 (there were also 25 artist''s proofs, and the total deluxe edition of 45 in roman numerals), the full sheets or with full margins, new york graphic society, ltd, publisher. eight prints in various media on various papers, title page, text and justification page (lacking the original portfolio box).

These prints show no signs of prior framing or matting. As a result, the colors are fresh and there are no old hinges, tape or glue remains verso. All with extrememly minor wear at the extreme sheet edges or corners, occasional traces of surface soiling or very minor handling creases. Overall, all in very good, original condition. With a few additional individual notations as follows here:
Traces of minor surface soiling at the bottom right corner, the signature very slightly smudged.
Several areas of soft rubbing in the black, more concentrated in the bottom right quadrant, no attendant ink loss in these areas. Also, an approx. 4-in. line of soft rubbing extending from the top of the black image area into the top of the blue at upper right through the letter 'v' (no attendant ink loss).
With a 2-inch soft handling crease in the black at upper center.
Minor wear at the extreme sheet corners.
With a minute paper imperfection in the center of the uninked area at right.
On tissue-thin Japan, with very minor handling creases.
With very faint smuding in the signature and with a minute area of surface soiling at the bottom of the right margin. With a very faint scuff or rubmark at bottom left, no attendant ink loss, evident only when examined at an angle under raking light.
With a crease across the subway pole in two places: one where the pole meets the figure's head at bottom and another where the pole meets the bottom of the top hand. This work sold accompanied by a photocopy of a letter from the artist stating that there is 'aesthetic variation' within the edition.
