Description: VICTORIAN PAINT DECORATED PAIR OF KEROSENE PARLOR LAMPS, rose and yellow ground with polychrome painted decoration, matching pattern and design, large urn-form font vases with large ball-form shades. Fitted with matching Pittsburgh "SUCCESS" burners, each having been electrified, cast-metal floral and scroll bases. Period slip chimneys, one signed, "12" SUCCESS/P.L.B. & G. CO.". Likely Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass, and Glass Co.

Condition Report: Bases virtually undamaged with some imperfections due to the electrification process, shades with chipping/roughness to the bottom fitters, one shade ring with moderate denting.

Provenance: Property of Bill and Karen Webb.

Dimensions: Each 27" HOA, 17 1/2" H to the top of the sockets, 7 1/2" SQ base, 11 7/8" H shade.

Medium: Early 20th century.
