Description: 8th-11th century AD. A group of iron keys comprising: one with flattened rod body with series of incised lines, openwork head with cross shape to the centre, suspension ring to the top; a barrel key with round bow and square end on tines; one with ovoid bow, round-section shank, rectangular ward with openwork cross and two teeth to the side. 102 grams total, 11-13cm (4 1/4 - 5"). From an old German collection, formed in the 1990s. [3, No Reserve]
