VLADIMIR FAVORSKY (RUSSIAN, 1886-1964) WOODCUT A 1928 woodcut celebrating the Soviet October Revolution of 1917, image field measures 6 x 9.25 inches, 10.5 x 15.25 inches. Favorsky was made a full member of the Soviet Academy of Arts in 1962 and became a People's Artist in 1963.
