The Galleria Castelnuovo dates the work to the time around 1908 until 1910 and identifies the depicted figures as "Frau Marc, Frau Jawlensky, Alexej Jawlensky". Dr. Bernd Fäthke knows the original sheet and dates its time of origin to the year of 1909. The presented male figure is without any doubt Alexej Jawlensky. The two women cannot be clearly identified. Mrs. Marc and Marianne von Werefkin got to know each other only after 1910. According to Dr. Fäthke, the figure in the middle could be Gabriele Münter. We would like to thank Dr. Fäthke for his kind assistance.
