A tubular glass cylinder seal with intaglio design of a robed and crowned hero tackling a rampant lion with a knife in one hand, behind him a bearded and long-haired figure brandishes a comb(?"). See Collon, D. First Impressions. Cylinder Seals in the Ancient Near East, London, 2005, p.90 for discussion. 3.07 grams, 24mm (1"). Property of a North West London gentleman; formerly with a central London gallery in 1990.

Condition Report: Very fine condition. Extremely rare in glass.
