Description: 12th-6th century BC. A mixed group of ceramic jugs comprising: one burnished red slip ware with everted rim and base, bands of white linear markings to the neck and shoulder; one similar, grey ware; one similar with funicular neck, hatching to the body. Cf. Amiran, R. Ancient Pottery of the Holy Land, Jerusalem, 1963, item 308 for type. 1.4 kg total, 22-28cm (8 3/4 - 11"). From a German collection; acquired on the German art market before 1990.
