Description: 2nd millennium BC. A ceramic model wagon with arched cover, flat floor, panels of incised linear decoration to the outer face; the rear edge pierced to accept an axle, the leading edge with three pierced lugs to accept the front axle (with gaps for attachment of the draught pole); four slightly biconvex ceramic wheels; modern wooden axle components. Cf. Serhal, C.D. Near Eastern Terracotta Models and Figurines: The Klat Collection, London, 1995, items 35-7. 965 grams, 19.5cm (7 3/4").
