Description: 1st-2nd century AD. A penannular gold earring with fastening loops to the terminals, flange collar to the lower edge flanked by rigid drops each comprising a pearl bead, granulated gold collar, turquoise bead, hollow gold lentoid bead. 4.64 grams, 38mm (1 1/2"). Property of a North West London gentleman; formerly with a central London gallery in 1990.
