A bulbous ceramic vessel with basal ring, tubular neck with raised vertical rim, strap handle, U-section spout with perforations; horizontal black and red bands to the body, chevrons to the shoulder. Cf. Amiran, R. Ancient Pottery of the Holy Land, Jerusalem, 1963, plate 84, item 10. 769 grams, 18.5cm (7 1/4"). From a German collection; acquired on the German art market before 1990. [No Reserve]
