Description: 2nd millennium BC. A bronze axehead with tubular socket, four ribs extending to spikes to the rear, curved blade with flange to the top and bottom edges. Cf. Legrain, L. Luristan Bronzes in the University Museum, Pennsylvania, 1934, item 47. 268 grams, 16.5cm (6 1/2"). Ex Cologne private collection.
