Description: 13th-6th century BC. A bronze flange-hilted dagger with slender leaf-shaped two-edged blade, hollow grip with socket to each face to accept an insert and lateral flanges to retain it. Cf. Khorasani, M.M. Arms and Armour from Iran - The Bronze Age to the End of the Qajar Period, T?bingen, 2006, p.381, Cat.13. 201 grams, 35cm (13 1/2"). Property of a Cologne collector, Germany; acquired in the 1990s.
